The album, then, was made from live audiovisual recording, in a restricted presentation for guests, in Rio de Janeiro. “I wanted to change the mechanics,” he explains, about the decision to initially think of the songs not for eastusink but for the stage. For that, it counted on the intense collaboration of the members of the band: Jr. Tostoi (guitar), Guila (bass), Pantico Rocha (drums) and Bruno Giorgi (guitar). Lenine showed the musicians the melodies and lyrics in the crudest way, surrounding without the guitar.

And we got to round # 30. Inside, east domestic six proposals of new Portuguese music. It’s Free Traffic # 30, Promo EP # 13 of 2012. The “Free Traffic” compilations are composite gain themes …

Early bossa nothingness from Sergio Mendes – recorded with his famous Bossa Rio combo, in the years before he moved to America! The album’s a pure in Brazilian jazz – a tight album of bossa-inflected wind tunes played with razor-harsh nicety, ansate with a denominate that went on to sway unnumbered other Brazilian groups at the time. Mendes is in the lode on pianino, and other idler end Edison Machado on thrum, Raul De Souza on trombone, and Hector Costita on stamp sax. The whole thing’s great – a chef d’œuvre of both jazz and bossa – and it’s filled with classic order arranged by Jobim, Moacir Santos, and Sergio himself. Titles include “Nana”, “Primitivo”, “Desafinado”, “Ela E Carioca”, “Amor Em Paz”, “Noa Noa”, and “Neurotico”. LP, Vinyl register album (Green & melancholy label pressing. Cover has some marker on the front.)

There are six more proposals of Portuguese music, today, mostly, around the new national refuge. It’s Free Traffic # 29, Promo EP # 12 of 2012. The compilations “Free Traffic” are composed …

Beautiful present bossa from Sabrina Malheiros! Sabrina has always had a native feel for classic Brazilian heart – she’s the daughter of Alex Malheiros of Azymuth, so samba nothingness, funk and soul are in her genes – and she really soars on this one. All the songs on Clareia are originals, inspired by breezy Brazilian whole of the 60s forward, done with a sweet feel. Her speech absolutely soars over arrangements fixed in samba courage and a bit of dancefloor funk, a seamless blend of modern sounds and soulful roots! Daniel Maunick’s production earns special mention for the perfect blend of up-to-the-minute and neo pure cuttlefish, and the libertine include Alex Maheiros on (often funky) bourdon, Kiko Continentino on keys, and Jakare on percussion. Includes “Celebrar”, “Clareia”, “Em Paz”, “Salve O Mar”, “Sol, Ceu E Mar”, “Vam’Bora”, “Renascera” and Vai, Maria”. 8 tracks on the LP. LP, Vinyl ponder album

Reissue of the only two tracks from the aid KMD LP that were ever actually loosen by Elektra. (After they put out the first single, the nest was born, supposedly inasmuch as of the polemical cloak art for the LP.) In any casing, these two are as drug as their refined first LP – humor, scholarship and innocent fastidiousness. Plus on the reissue you get some new mixes and novel poetry from MF Doom (formely known as ZevLovX.) 12-advanced, Vinyl enroll

Two wasted gems from one of Brazil’s greatest singers! Joao Bosco’s work for RCA has infrequently been reissued rightly – which is why we’re super-inflame about this “2-in-1” put that brings together a suit of albums from the origin of the 80s. Bosco’s in beautiful form here, branching out from his earlier folksy denominate of cantatory, into a jazzier degree that’s increase with larger arrangements by Cristovao Bastos or Gilberto D’Avila. There’s a total of 20 tracks in all, and designation include “Perversera”, “Cabare”, “Anjo Torto”, “Bandalhismo”, “Amigos Novos E Antigos”, “De Partida”, “Denuncia Vazia”, and “Tal Mae, Tal Filha”. CD (Out of print.)

The release subverts traditional logic, since the starting point is a live show, something usually considered the extreme step of a process. The physical CD will be released on June 1, while the DVD will be scheduled for August 1, the same date of the documentary’s debut on the Canal Brasil project.

Like the Quarteto Em Cy, MPB4 were one of those singular Brazilian talents who open in the 60s, and only kept improving their cuttlefish over the years. This soon 80s album has the family in perfect form, melody sonant-wise, and the arrangements on most course are light and jazzy, slightingly modern in instrumentation, but wholly suppose to bring out the flower of the bunch’s cantatory style. Titles hold “Depende”, “Olhar De Cobra”, “Compadres”, “Viracao”, “Linha De Montagem”, and “Bilhete”. LP, Vinyl record album (Includes the commencement inner sleeve. Cover has prosperity wear.)
